A location can say something before a portrait begins. A yellow wall throws a figure into focus. A painted surface changes the temperature of a face. A small booth creates a frame within the frame.
This series follows that conversation between person and place. Nothing is borrowed merely for style: colour is used as structure, and the city is allowed to be present without swallowing the person inside it.
A creative portrait works when the setting gives the person more room to be themselves, not less.

Can we work with a location I already have in mind?
Yes. A street, interior, neighbourhood detail or temporary setting can work well when it connects to the person and leaves space for the photograph to breathe.
How much direction is involved?
The session has a clear visual direction, but it does not need to feel staged. The aim is to make useful choices about colour, light and framing while keeping the person present and comfortable.
